About
Built by people tired of how 3PLs usually treat sellers
Oakmont 3PL Ltd, trading as Oakmont Logistics, is a UK fulfilment company for ecommerce and Amazon FBA sellers. We started it because the industry's defaults — hidden fees, weekly spreadsheet exports, twelve-month tie-ins — deserve better competition.
Principles
The rules we run the warehouse by
Published pricing, kept honest
Our whole rate card is on the website — including the exception fees. If a price isn't published, a client can't plan around it, and a 3PL that hides its pricing is negotiating against you.
Visibility is the product
The actual work — prepping, storing, shipping — is table stakes. What sellers actually lack is knowing what's happening to their stock without asking. That's why the portal exists, and why discrepancies come with photos on the day we find them.
Flexibility that's contractual, not decorative
No minimums, no setup fee, month-to-month terms. 'Flexible' is easy to say; we put it in the contract so it stays true when it's inconvenient for us.
Small enough to care, run like it's big
You get named humans who know your stock — backed by proper process: ASN-tracked inbounds, ID'd exceptions, audited billing. Friendly doesn't have to mean chaotic.
The operation
What you'd see if you visited
And you can — the warehouse is open to clients by appointment.
ASN-tracked inbound
Every carton expected before it arrives, counted against its announcement on arrival.
Location-managed stock
Pallets, shelf bins and loose cartons all barcoded to locations — nothing lives in a mystery pile.
Photographed exceptions
Damage and discrepancies photographed at the bench, logged the same day.
