How do I send a removal order to Oakmont?
Create the removal order in Seller Central with our warehouse as the delivery address, then raise an ASN in the portal quoting the removal order ID and expected quantities. That reference is what lets us match Amazon's carriers — who do not book in — to your stock, so deliveries are expected rather than mystery boxes.
Removals arrive in dribs and drabs — how do you handle that?
That is normal: Amazon ships removal orders in multiple consignments over days or weeks. Each arrival is checked in at £0.35 per unit against your removal order reference, and the portal shows received-versus-expected as a running total. When the trickle stops short of the total, you will know exactly how short.
What happens to units Amazon flagged as unfulfillable?
They get graded rather than assumed dead. Three tiers — visual, component check with photographs, and an electrical test at £0.75 for powered goods — at £1.20 per unit, with photos in the portal. A large share of 'unfulfillable' stock is customer-returned items with damaged outer packaging and a perfectly sellable product inside.
Can recovered stock go straight back into FBA?
Yes. Units graded sellable are re-prepped — fresh poly bag, new FNSKU where needed — at the standard prep tiers from £0.50 down to £0.26 per unit, and forwarded back to Amazon against a new shipment. Alternatively, route them into DTC or eBay stock from the same pool; the portal shows graded stock by condition either way.
What about units that genuinely aren't worth recovering?
Disposal is £0.25 per unit and happens only on your instruction, with the write-off itemised in the billing ledger. Until you decide, stock sits in storage from £0.90 per shelf bin per week — so there is no pressure to make the call before you have seen the grading photos.
