Can I offer fast delivery on Amazon without using FBA?
Yes. Merchant-fulfilled sellers can set fast delivery promises provided dispatch is consistent, and that is the part a 3PL solves. Orders placed before our 2pm cut-off are dispatched the same day, which is the foundation any fast-delivery promise on Amazon rests on.
How does FBM through a 3PL protect my seller metrics?
Your late shipment rate depends on dispatching by the promised date, and your order defect rate depends partly on sending the right item. We work to a 2pm same-day cut-off and a 99.8% pick accuracy target, and both figures are published rather than promised privately.
Is FBM cheaper than FBA?
It depends on the SKU. Our DTC fulfilment is £0.95 per order plus £0.25 per extra unit with a standard mailer included, and storage runs from £0.90 per shelf bin per week. For oversized, heavy or slow-turning products, that maths often beats FBA's fulfilment and storage fees; for small fast-movers, FBA can still win. We handle both, so you can split your catalogue.
Can I run FBA and FBM from the same stock pool?
Yes, and it is one of the stronger reasons to hold stock with us. The same inventory can feed FBA shipments and merchant-fulfilled orders, so you can switch a SKU between channels without moving stock. The portal shows one live inventory position across both.
What happens with FBM returns?
Returns come back to us rather than your kitchen table. We grade each unit at £1.20 per unit, with an electrical test available at £0.75 where relevant, and resellable stock goes back on the shelf. Gradings and photos appear in your portal so you can decide on disposal, refurbishment or restock.
